Bodegas Bordoy: wine with history beneath Sa Torre Chapel

History tells us that the Sa Torre estate existed around the year 1369, known on the island for the unique neo-Gothic chapel built nearby, which overlooks the land stretching between Llucmajor and Cap Blanc.

Legend has it that the owner of the estate had it built when his wish to have a son was fulfilled. The truth is that today this chapel blesses the vineyards of Bodegas Bordoy.

It all began when Miquel Sastre Bordoy acquired the plots ‘Els camps de Sa Vinya’ and ‘s’Aujub Vermell’ in 1993, belonging to the ‘Sa Torre’ estate, with the hope that those lands that had sheltered vineyards centuries ago would once again become a vineyard. His know-how, determination and vision for the future did the rest.
