Llucmajor Town Hall: A Building of History and Character

The building, designed by Miguel Dalmau, dates from 1882 and is of eclectic-historicist style. The façade features a lower cladding of Mallorcan marble. At the top, there is a clock and an octagonal zinc turret housing a bell, topped by a weather vane. It consists of four floors and a rooftop, and the Town Hall was inaugurated on 27 January 1884.

The entrance is flanked by two windows, above which the words “Casa Consistorial, year 1882” are carved in stone, along with the city’s coat of arms. Upon entering the building, on the left side is the old coat of arms of the city of Llucmajor, dating from 1626.
