The only Racing Circuit in the Balearic Islands is located in Llucmajor, with incredible views of the Bay of Palma and the possibility of trying your motorcycle or car, as well as taking Karting classes (children and adults) or just coming to enjoy other exhibitions motor. Porsche, Mercedes, Skoda and others have already come to try it …

The Nautical Club of S’Arenal (CNA)and  The Nautical Club of S’Estanyol (CNE) offer sailing, kayaking, windsurfing and others classes throughout the winter.

A wide gastronomic offer,where you can taste amazing Winter dishes such as “Panades”, “Sopes”,  “Coca Mallorquina” or “Sobrassada”.

Places that you must not miss…

It is essential to visit Capocorb Vell, one of the most important  prehistoric villages in the Mediterranean  to the World of the Fig Trees Experimentation Field  “Son Mut Nou”, to one of the most interesting Ethnologycal  Groups on the island “Can Garra Seca“, as well Like the Church of St Miquel of the eighteenth century, the Claustre of St Bonaventura of the seventeenth century or the Monument to Jaume III, the last king of Mallorca, died in the battle of Llucmajor, in which he lost the kingdom, the work of the sculptor Josep Maria Camps and Arnau, on the architectural project of Joan Rubió and Bellver, disciple of Antoni Gaudí. ¿And what else is  there during the winter months?

In october Llucmajor celebrates its FAIR, one of the most important celebrations of Mallorca and also the oldest, since it dates from the year 1546. It begins the day of  Sant Miquel (in september), patrón of Llucmajor and ends the day of Sant Lluc (San Lucas). There are almost three weeks that include activities such as painting exhibitions , a tapas route  through the bars and restaurants of Llucmajor, Hand Made  Fair and  Mostra Llucmajorera.

Not to be missed in January  the  “Foguerons” festivities, by St. Antoni, with their bonfires and their “dimonis” a popular tradition that goes back to the most ancestral cults of the Sun cult and which represents the most  ancient roots of the Balearic culture.

In the month of February they are already famous the almond blossoms with their white flowers along the mallorquín landscape.

In addition, the last weekend of February usually takes place the Carnival Parades of Arenal and Llucmajor, the well-known Rua de Carnaval.

In the month of March, on the occasion of Women’s Day, activities are carried out throughout the municipality, sports and cultural.

Throughout the year, all youth and the children’s activities , cultural and sports activities  are included in the mothly Agenda  of the City Council of  Llucmajor  and in the  EVENTS section of this website.
