Industrial architecture of Llucmajor

Llucmajor has sought to preserve some elements of its industrial architectural past, and for this reason there is a catalogue of protected buildings that stand as examples of its economic dynamism.

Among the various elements are electricity factories, the slaughterhouse (now the local police headquarters) and the chimneys of potteries and tile works, among others. Some have already been consolidated and refurbished, such as the Helios electricity factory, whose construction began in 1921. The building can be viewed from the outside at Carrer del Bisbe Roig number 34.
